KIDS FLY FREE

This mural was a hard birth - the installation was a comedy of errors. After carefully constructing a frame so I could make the most invisible of seams ( the image was 33'sx15') between all of the panels, we ended up breaking it apart because it weighed too much to be moved to the site. Anyway, the faces were interesting to paint and the cause was just - it was for an organization, Kids Fly Free, that took kids at risk up in an airplane for the first time. I had an airplane hanger to work in and when people went by, they thought I had a crowd in there with me because the painting was so realistic.
